New eateries continue to open at breakneck speed in Alachua County, taking a risk to welcome in patrons even as many remain wary of dining out during the coronavirus pandemic.
New spots for lunch, dinner and dessert opened earlier this week throughout the county, offering both dine-in and takeout service.

Newberry residents now have a new restaurant to flock to for steaks, burgers, salmon and more.
Stone House Neighborhood Grill opened Monday at 1759 SW 248th Drive, south of Oak View Middle School.
Katie Krecker, who co-owns the restaurant with her husband Jay, said she wants the restaurant to serve as a space where people can gather for all occasions, whether it be a quick lunch in the middle of the work week, a celebratory meal or date night dinner. ....
