Oak View man arrested in connection with Ojai stabbing
Ojai deputies arrested a 33-year-old Oak View man after he was suspected of stabbing someone on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
The stabbing was first reported at 12:33 p.m. in the 100 block of Canada Street in Ojai, according to the Ventura County Sheriff s Office, which contracts with the city for police services.
Bystanders reported a fight taking place in front of a business in the area. Deputies arrived on scene and found a 29-year-old Ojai man suffering a stab wound in his abdomen. The victim refused transport via ambulance and later took himself to Ojai Valley Hospital for treatment, according to authorities. ....
