Dylan Rafaty of Plano has won the 2020 Oticon Focus on People Awards, a national competition that recognizes people who are working to change stereotypes associated with living with hearing loss.
The Dallas Morning Newspreviously reported that Rafaty was one of three finalists in the advocacy category for the competition, which recognizes people who are working to change stereotypes associated with living with hearing loss. The contest is run by Oticon USA, a hearing device manufacturer.
