TWO popular Loch Lomond run events have been cancelled until June 2022.
The Loch Lomond 10k & 5K races usually see runners locally and from all over Scotland sign up to run run amongst the beautiful surroundings of Balloch Castle Country Park.
But organisers have confirmed that both events, which were due to be held this summer, have been cancelled for a second year running due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Organisers of the runs published a post on Facebook which said: We are aware that restrictions may be eased in June. However this will not be confirmed until a later date and therefore provides inadequate time to organise an event of this scale. ....
