A group within Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi-led committee saddled with the responsibility of conducting chairmanship and councillorship primaries for the state PDP of bias.
The group, known as Oyo PDP like-minds, in a press statement on Sunday claimed that the electoral and monitoring committee led by Senator Ningi from Bauchi State had shown it was acting a script written for them by the state governor, Seyi Makinde, and his cabal. ....

Despite revelations of grievances of some party members in the Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) reconciliation committee report, Publicity Secretary, Oyo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Akeem Olatunji, has ruled out the existence of crisis in the party.
According to Olatunji, the grievances enumerated in the report were expectations of members who had been in opposition for about eight years and wanted some relief.
Noting that PDP members should be glad that the party was back in power, he urged party men and women to lower their expectations, remain patient and positive that the party goodies will still get to them. ....
