MACC, ODC Network will consolidate Lake Macatawa watershed management

HOLLAND Environmental programs in the Lake Macatawa Watershed will be managed by a single group after two collaborating organizations will consolidate efforts to oversee water cleanup in the area
The Outdoor Discovery Center Network will oversee watershed management beginning this fall. Previously, ODC Network and the Macatawa Area Coordinating Council collaborated on many environmental projects involving the watershed.
During the MACC s policy meeting Monday, June 7, members voted to enter an agreement with the ODC Network for Watershed Management.
This means ODC Network will take control of projects addressing water clarity in Lake Macatawa, dealing with sediment and runoff that can pollute the lake and oversee other issues. ....
