LAHAINA A motivational speaker will be the presenter at the hybrid meeting of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3, at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant at the Royal Lahaina Resort. Kelly Nickel will make his presentation from California via Zoom on the large screen to the in-person participants. KAANAPALI Theo Morrison will make an in-person presentation at the hybrid meeting of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant at the Royal Lahaina Resort. The meeting will also be available via Zoom for those who wish to view it online. Morrison has been leading community groups in Lahaina for the past 30 years. Currently, she serves as executive director of the 59-year-old Lahaina Restoration Foundation.
Action Plans to be featured at Rotary meeting

LAHAINA Club Action Plans will be the topic at the in-person/hybrid meeting of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant at the Royal Lahaina Resort. The meeting will also be available via Zoom for those who wish to view it online. At a recent Zoom meeting, three-quarters of the club members participated in a Virtual Visioning Session conducted by past Assistant Governors Wendy Hornack, Larry Laird and Joanne Laird. Participants were given the opportunity to brainstorm new projects for the club to initiate in the 2021-22 Rotary year. Four new projects were selected, and Action Planning teams met to coordinate plans for implementation.
