After his boat capsized off the coast of New Hampshire, Gloucester sailor Tom Cox is recalling how he was rescued.
After sailing his 42-foot trimaran for 29 years, Cox was overconfident on Friday, he told NBC10 Boston Wednesday, thinking his boat, the Triad, was fast enough to outrun an incoming storm.

WALDOBORO The state has identified the 34-year-old fisherman whose body was recovered Tuesday morning following an all-night search by federal, state and local crews in the waters off Waldoboro.
The Maine Marine Patrol reported Wednesday morning that James Guptill was the man whose body was recovered at about 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday. His body was found about a half mile from where other local fishermen found an empty skiff, aground and unoccupied, on Monday evening near Havener Point.
Guptill held a commercial shellfish harvester license as well as a non-commercial lobster license. ....

U.S. Coast Guard searching for missing woman off coast of Scituate

SCITUATE Rescue crews are searching for a 75-year-old woman who went missing after a boat capsized off the coast of Scituate, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
According to a WCVB report, Coast Guard officials say the capsized boat was reported to Scituate police at about 5 p.m. Saturday. The boat was close to shore when it capsized, according to officials.
Local harbormasters and an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from the Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod are searching for the woman.
No further information has been released by officials. ....
