CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas The coronavirus pandemic has had an economic impact on our community in South Texas. Some good-hearted folks have stepped up by creating GoFundMe accounts and donating spare change to local restaurants.
The owner of Shoreline Sandwich Company said they re raising money for local restaurants who are struggling to make ends meet.
Kris Busk, the owner of the deli, said in less than 24 hours since posting on Facebook, over $3,000 have been raised. He said he s hoping the momentum continues so local restaurants can receive $2,000 each. ....
