With Governor Brown’s Tuesday, Dec. 15, announcement that Clatsop County will move into the state’s ‘Extreme Risk’ category of COVID-19 on Friday, Dec.18, the City of Seaside has several operational changes it will impose beginning the same day.
All city buildings will continue to be fully staffed, but access to staff and city services will largely be limited to phone calls or pre-scheduled appointments. Additionally, city offices will be closed to all operations on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 as official holidays. Pending guideline updates from the Governor’s Office and Oregon Health Authority, our hope is that building operations can begin reopening the week of Jan. 4, 2021.
