Burnham-On-Sea’s Victoria Hotel has unveiled a new covered area to enable customers to enjoy a drink in shelter when pubs open for outdoor trade from April 12th.
Landlord Ryan Andress told Burnham-On-Sea.com it has been a community effort to get the covered area ready in time for Monday’s re-opening.
“I would like to thank Burnham Chamber of Trade for their support in reaching out to local traders for help. Chris and his team at Burnham Scaffolding have been amazing, as has Jamie at CRS Highbridge.”

Burnham-On-Sea's Victoria Hotel to offer take-away Mothers Day meals this Sunday

Burnham-On-Sea’s Victoria Hotel is set to offer take-away Mothers Day meals this Sunday (March 14th).
The pub will be offering its normal roast dinner services this Sunday, as well as a special Mother’s Day 2 or 3 course meal.
Landlord Ryan Andress says: “It’s a special day for mums everywhere so we wanted to do something extra for our local customers.”
“Two courses with discount cost £12.20 and three courses with a discount cost £14.07 while child’s two courses are £5.09 and three courses are £7.18 with discount.”
“Starters include Prawn Cocktail served with fresh baked roll; Tomato Soup served with fresh baked roll; or Dirty Wedges – topped with Bacon and Cheese.” ....

Burnham-On-Seaâs Victoria Hotel held a Christmas lights switch-on event on Friday night (December 11th) with a special visit from Father Christmas.
The socially-distanced event saw Santa handing out free presents to children during the run-up to the hotel’s ‘community Christmas tree’ being lit by Burnham author George Clement.
The hotel received hundreds of pounds of donations during recent weeks for the 17ft tree and decorations, as reported here, and it is now illuminated for the festive season.
Hotel landlord Ryan Andress told Burnham-On-Sea.com: âIt was a wonderful evening in which we lit up the tree for the festive season â there were free presents for 40 children whose parents had booked slots with Santa in advance.” ....
