A particular United States lawfirm has just filed a class action lawsuit directly against Sony. The allegations are due to the PS5 DualSense controller being defective due to the drift. The lawsuit alleges that Sony was aware of this particular problem but still did not disclose it. The lawsuit then calls Sony s conduct deceptive, fraudulent, unlawful, and also unfair.

Following reports that some of Sony s PS5 DualSense controllers were suffering similar drift issues that have plagued the Nintendo Switch s Joy-Cons and Microsoft s Xbox One controllers, the company is now facing a class action.
Last week brought reports that some PS5 owners had found their DualSense controllers were displaying drift analog sticks detecting phantom inputs.
