Two men beat up a 60-year-old man for asking them why they were throwing
construction debris at his empty plot without his permission. The man had gone to Dasarahalli to check on his
site when he noticed a truck dumping debris at a space on his plot and asked them not to throw it there. The men beat him up so badly that he lost one tooth and injured three others.
Mariyappa (name changed), a resident of Kempapura, has filed a complaint with the
Amruthahalli police. He said the incident took place on Thursday afternoon when he went to visit the site. “I went to my site and noticed that there was a lot of garbage and construction debris on my plot. Within minutes, I saw a truck come back to throw more debris on my plot,” he said. When Mariyappa asked him to stop, he pointed to a construction site nearby and told him that the owner had asked him to unload ....

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - Crews worked quickly to get traffic moving on Interstate 69 northbound at the KY 348 Benton exit 43 interchange in Marshall County on Tuesday morning.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, a load of construction debris came off of a trailer traveling down the northbound entry ramp.
Debris had blocked access to the exit and one northbound lane of I-69.
Crews estimated it would take approximately two hours to clean-up, but it took about 45 minutes. ....
