I’m writing to you about your decision to take away snow days.
I, and many others, believe that taking something like a snow day away in this particular year seems wrong because all of the things our planet has gone through in the past nine months.
You decided to take away one of the greatest and holiest things in a child s existence! When you wake up to a snow day it’s like a weight lifted off your shoulders. The surprise and the spontaneity is part of the glory of it. You know that later that day you won’t be in a classroom. You’ll be sledding, playing, getting soaked, and coming home for hot chocolate. ....
