Located within the Qatar Rehabilitation Institute (QRI), Hamad Medical Corporation has introduced its new specialized rehabilitation facility that simulates a modern environment for recovering patients. Her Excellency Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari, Minister of Public Health, had opened the ‘Easy Street’ patient rehabilitation facility and met with a few patients who were able to benefit from this service. The Easy Street simulates real-world situations in a safe clinical environment for patients to take their first independent steps towards recovery following a protracted illness with life-changing medical issues. The rehabilitation facility was specifically designed to meet the needs of patients recovering from a stroke or brain hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, or other medical issues that have impacted their ability to live at home and conduct basic life tasks. ....
