Vote no on the recall
I am writing to share my thoughts on the current recall of our Governor. A map in the sfgate today shows that Siskiyou County has been actively collecting signatures for this recall petition. The numbers show that 15.4% of our voters have signed on. This translates to roughly 2,580 people.
While some enjoy bashing politicians and at this point make a career out of it; I suggest looking at what the Governor has accomplished, while working to protect California from a pandemic. His misstep or missteps are miniscule in the big picture. I dare say we have all done something we regret during this pandemic, either intentionally or unintentionally while trying to just live our lives. I know I have. ....

North Conway Public Library is the recipient of a matching grant from the
Kendal C. and Anna Ham Charitable Foundation in the amount of $50,000 to be awarded upon successful completion of funds raised by October 2021.
The library is currently in the end phase of their fundraising campaign, ....
