Jack Frame, 16, was killed exactly two years ago today when Kanad Basi, from Pollokshields, crashed his BMW while high on drink and drugs. Rear seat passengers Aiden O’Donnell and Ellie Plenderleith survived the tragedy near Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire, but each suffered their own serious injuries. Basi, a waiter, was jailed for four years and eight months yet victims hoped the “lenient” sentence would be extended. However, last week Jack’s parents, Amanda and David, were told the bid had been rejected by the Appeal Court. ....
