Kano State governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has described those politicising the efforts of his administration in disposing off properties that are decaying in the state as primitive, who can’t see beyond their noses.”
According to him, “no city in the whole world will allow its properties wallow in neglect and decay, that is why my mission is to turn Kano around to compete favourably with other cities no matter what critics say.
He made the assertion on Saturday, during an inspection tour of the multi-billion naira Kano Economic City, sited at Dangwauro area on Zaria road, a few kilometres away from the metropolitan city. ....

The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has described critics speaking against his government’s style of handling public properties as primitive individuals who can not see beyond their noses.
Mr Ganduje said this while inspecting the Kano Economic City at Dangwauro area along Zaria road.
He explained that the government not only sold the Triumph Newspapers building, popularly known as Gidan Sa’adu Zungur but converted it to be used by the modern Foreign Exchange market formally cited at WAPA near Fagge.
He said:
“For those critics who don’t even understand the practice of modern journalism, that does not require such a big building for the production of newspapers, we are turning the building into modern Foreign Exchange market. ....

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state has described critics of his administration’s handling of some public properties, including the Triumph building, Daula Hotel in the state as primitive with vague understanding for politicizing the move saying they can’t see beyond their noses.
He made the statement while on an inspection tour of the Multi-Billion Naira Kano Economic City, sited at Dangwauro area along Zaria road, a few kilometres away from the metropolis, Tuesday evening
While trying to clarify the public-oriented intent of Kano state government Ganduje explained that the Triumph Newspapers building, popularly known as Gidan Sa’adu Zungur was not just sold out but converted into a modern Foreign Exchange market formally cited at WAPA near Fagge in part of the metropolis. ....
