By Abdulmumin Murtala, Kano Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state has described critics of his administration’s handling of some public properties, including the Triumph building, Daula Hotel in the state as primitive with vague understanding for politicizing the move saying they can’t see beyond their noses. He made the statement while on an inspection tour of the Multi-Billion Naira Kano Economic City, sited at Dangwauro area along Zaria road, a few kilometres away from the metropolis, Tuesday evening While trying to clarify the public-oriented intent of Kano state government Ganduje explained that the Triumph Newspapers building, popularly known as Gidan Sa’adu Zungur was not just sold out but converted into a modern Foreign Exchange market formally cited at WAPA near Fagge in part of the metropolis.
