Thomasville man accused of soliciting sexual acts from teen A Thomasville man was arrested after police say he solicited a teenager for sexual acts. Troy Lee Hunt, 34, is accused of using Facebook to contact a 15-year-old girl from Montgomery County, according to a press release. He was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 24 and charged with felony soliciting a child under 16 by computer to commit sexual acts. Hunt is being held at the Davidson County Jail on a $75,000 secured bond. Within the past two weeks, two teenage girls from Davidson County disappeared after being contacted by men online. Savannah Childress, 14, was found in Arkansas after being taken from her home in Denton, and her kidnapper died from an apparent suicide. Kayla Carlson, 15, disappeared from American Children s Home in Denton and was found at a motel on Monday, Feb. 22. ....

Kayla Carlson, 15, disappeared last week from American Children s Home in Lexington. Authorities found her at a motel on Monday, Feb. 22 and arrested Christopher Steele Boles, 36, in connection with her kidnapping. The Davidson County Sheriff s Office said Boles was communicating with Kayla on her school laptop prior to her disappearance. A statement from American Children s Home s president and CEO Kathy Berrier outlined the safety practices in place at the facility. ....
