Run by the World Photography Organisation (WPO), the Sony World Photography Awards are in their 14th year. More than 330,000 images were entered across 10 categories in four different competition classes: Professional, Open, Student, and Youth.
Craig was announced World Photographer of the Year 2021 by Scott Gray founder and CEO of the World Photography Organisation in online ceremony.

Photographer of the Year title and accompanying
$25,000 (USD) cash prize and a range of Sony’s digital
imaging kit is awarded to the esteemed documentarian

The annual Sony World Photography Awards has announced the winners of its 2021 competition, with two of the top prizes going to photographers who reexamined biases in how culture and history is portrayed.
Zimbabwean photographer Tamary Kudita was named Open Photographer of the Year, a category honoring single images, and awarded $5,000 for her winning portrait, African Victorian.
