Chris Williams Launches Lucille s Hospitality Group, Kanpai Club Opens

Lucille s Hospitality Group, the new endeavor from Houston chef Chris Williams, is on track to produce four new restaurant and lifestyle concepts by 2022. Williams, known for his restaurant Lucille s in the Museum District, has launched the venture as a tribute to his grandmother, Lucille B. Smith, who not only inspired his restaurant s moniker but also Williams own entrepreneurship with her own achievements as a business woman, chef and educator. The new operation will also create industry partnerships with local restaurants stars including Dawn Burrell, the James Beard Semifinalist for Best Chef: Texas in 2020 and former executive chef at Kulture.  Burrell will serve as chef and concept partner within LHG. Lucille s Chris Williams Announces New Hospitality Group and New Restaurants Get ready for a number of new spots, including one run by James Beard semifinalist Dawn Burrell. Chris Williams, the chef/owner of Lucille s in the Museum District, announced Wednesday the formation of a Lucille s Hospitality Group, with four new dining and lifestyle concepts to be opened in 2021 and 22. It’s been a long road to get to this point, and I am so grateful to be surrounded by a work family that not only shares LHG’s vision for the future, but fully understands the work required to make it happen,  said Williams in a press release. The LHG perspective to the work is unique as nearly every single member comes from restaurant kitchens. We know how to grind!
