The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) announced that Eve H. Karasik of Levene Neale Bender Yoo & Brill (Los Angeles) has been named to a two-year term as the first ABI Vice President-Diversity & Inclusion. The position was created this year to reflect ABIâs commitment to implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives as identified by ABIâs Diversity & Inclusion Working Group. An ABI member since 1997, Karasik has served on ABIâs Executive Committee since 2019 and been part of the Board of Directors for several years, co-chaired ABIâs Bankruptcy Battleground West conference, served on the leadership of ABIâs Ethics Committee and is a frequent speaker at ABI events. ....
