Dr. A’ndrea J. Wilson, Assistant Professor, Braida Endowed Chair of Creative Writing and Director of Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives at Grand View, has been selected to serve as an Artist Peer Facilitator for the inaugural cohort of Bringing Artist INC to Des Moines. 
The three-hour, weekly fast-paced seminar, lead by peer facilitators, is structured to provide multiple means of engagement to tap into artists’ interests, challenge them appropriately, and motivate them to learn. Using a flipped classroom model, artists participate in hands-on activities, large group discussions, multimedia presentations, games, small group conversations and weekly challenges focused on direct application of class concepts. ....
