Some Private Schools Get Permission to Conduct Weekly Classes
The Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) has permitted schools and colleges, lacking suitable equipment for online teaching, to call students on campus for assigning homework on a weekly basis.
Previously on November 23, the government had ordered the closure of all institutions across the country till January 10, 2021. Schools and colleges were directed to conduct online classes till December 24 to protect students from COVID-19.

ISLAMABAD: Amid the alarming upsurge in the Coronavirus Cases across the Country, the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) has given a great relaxation to the Private Educational Institutions (PEls) to call each class once a week to submit and collect homework.
All private educational Institutions are switched to online learning and home based learning up to December 24, 2020; however in case the PEls do not have the facility of alternate mode i.e. online/Home based learning, they may call each class once a week to submit and collect homework. ....
