Starting this month, the Floyd County Health Department will be setting up clinics at some New Albany Floyd County Schools to administer coronavirus vaccines for high school students. 
The vaccine will be offered primarily to juniors and seniors, or students ages 16 or 17, beginning April 22. 
It s not so much that the children are at risk. . The issue is, you know, there are family members that might be more vulnerable and have medical problems, and this is one less person to spread this disease. So, that s sort of the driving concept, Floyd County Health Officer Tom Harris said.
The Indiana school district s first clinics will be set up at Floyd Central High School and New Albany High School. Parent permission is required.  ....
