The parents of an Ohio college sophomore who died from alcohol poisoning following an alleged fraternity hazing ritual in March has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the fraternity and several of its members.
Stone Foltz, 20, died March 7 after a Pi Kappa Alpha event on March 4 at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, about 20 miles south of Toledo. ....

8 indicted in hazing death of Bowling Green State University student


Prosecutors announced Thursday that eight people were indicted by an Ohio grand jury in connection with the death of a Bowling Green State University student who died from alcohol poisoning after attending a fraternity party.
Wood County Prosecuting Attorney Paul Dobson said the eight men attended a Pi Kappa Alpha party March 4 at an off-campus house where Stone Foltz, 20, was required to attend as a new member. Foltz’s roommate found him unresponsive at their apartment that evening, and later died March 7 at Toledo Hospital from a fatal level of alcohol intoxication during a “hazing incident,” according to the Lucas County Coroner. ....

(BOWLING GREEN, Ohio) Eight people have been indicted in the alleged fraternity hazing death of Bowling Green State University student Stone Foltz, with one person facing a first-degree manslaughter charge, prosecutors announced Thursday.
Foltz, a 20-year-old sophomore, died March 7 after a Pi Kappa Alpha event on March 4 at the university in Bowling Green, Ohio, about 20 miles south of Toledo.
Wood County Prosecuting Attorney Paul Dobson said eight men, ranging in age from 19 to 23, were indicted Wednesday.
They are: Jacob Krinn, 20, of Delaware, Ohio; Daylen Dunson, 20, of Cleveland, Ohio; Troy Henricksen, 23, of Grove City, Ohio; Canyon Caldwell, 21 of Dublin, Ohio; Niall Sweeney, 21, of Erie, Pennsylvania; Jarrett Prizel, 19, of Olean, New York; Benjamin Boyers, 21, of Sylvania, Ohio; and Aaron Lehane, 21, of Loveland, Ohio. ....
