Starting Monday, Feb. 22, the state opens up four locations where COVID-19 vaccinations can be administered to thousands of Georgians in a short period of time. One of the sites is the Habersham County Fairgrounds in Clarkesville. 
Habersham County Manager Phil Sutton said in a press statement this past week that county officials are glad to accommodate officials from the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) as they set up the facility.
I am excited for our county to take part in such an important process, said Sutton. “We are ready to get started.”
On Friday, GEMA officials were busy coordinating the set-up at the fairgrounds at 4235 Toccoa Highway. ....
