New Delhi [India], February 10 (ANI): Congress MP K Suresh on Wednesday gave an adjournment motion notice in Lok Sabha over the demand to discuss the alarming rise in COVID cases in Kerala.
According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Kerala has currently 64,131 active cases with 9,09,000 recoveries and 3,902 deaths so far.
Kerala reports 5,214 new COVID19 cases, 19 fatalities and 6,475 recoveries.
Meanwhile, India has reported 11,067 new COVID-19 cases and 13,087 recoveries in the last 24 hours, informed the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday. ....

NEW DELHI: Congress MP K Suresh on Wednesday gave an adjournment motion notice in Lok Sabha over the demand to discuss the alarming rise in COVID cases in Kerala.

New Delhi [India], February 9 (ANI): Congress MP K Suresh on Tuesday moved an adjournment motion notice in Lok Sabha, demanding an investigation in the probable cause to determine environmental destruction in view of glacier lake burst in Uttarakhand.
A glacier broke in the Tapovan-Reni area of Chamoli District of Uttarakhand on Sunday that triggered massive flooding in Dhauliganga and Alaknanda Rivers and damaged houses and the nearby Rishiganga power project.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the rescue team has managed to reach the Malari valley area in the Dhauli Ganga valley through a rope to deliver ration packages. ....

New Delhi [India], December 23 (ANI): Congress MP K Suresh on Wednesday said that former party chief Rahul Gandhi will lead a demonstration tomorrow at 10:45 am from Vijay Chowk to Rashtrapati Bhavan and will submit a memorandum to President Ram Nath Kovind seeking his intervention over farmers protest.
Rahul Gandhi along with Opposition leaders met President and submitted the memorandum to resolve farmers issue. But there was no action from the President and the government. Rahul Gandhi will lead demonstration tomorrow at 10:45 am from Vijay Chowk to Rashtrapati Bhavan with Congress MPs, Suresh told ANI. ....

Rahul Gandhi along with Opposition leaders met President and submitted the memorandum to resolve farmers issue. But there was no action from the President and the government. Rahul Gandhi will lead demonstration tomorrow at 10:45 am from Vijay Chowk to Rashtrapati Bhavan with Congress MPs, Suresh told ANI.
After that, he and other senior leaders will meet the President of India and submit a memorandum containing 2 crore signatures for his intervention to resolve the farmers agitation, he added.
Hundreds of farmers are protesting at the borders of Delhi since November 26 against the Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020; and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. ....
