Crystal Palace Under-18s came agonisingly close to winning the U18 Premier League South title, after losing out on goal difference to Fulham on Saturday.
The Cottagers victory over Chelsea means the Eagles finished runners-up, however: a phenomenal achievement in their first season at Category 1 level.

First-half goals from James Norwood, Gwion Edwards and Troy Parrott saw Town to a comfortable 3-1 home victory over Fleetwood Town in a typical meaningless final-day game at Portman Road. Norwood gave the Blues the lead on three, Edwards made it 2-0 six minutes later and Parrott added the third on 29, while Wes Burns pulled one back for the visitors in the 72nd minute.

Manager Paul Cook is looking to maintain his unbeaten home record as Blues boss when the Blues host Fleetwood Town in Sunday’s otherwise meaningless final game of the season.
Although Town’s results have been disappointing overall since Cook took charge on March 2nd, the Blues are yet to lose at Portman Road under his management, winning two and drawing three of his five games on home turf.
“I was going to mention that, none of you lot were going to mention that!” Cook laughed at his pre-match press conference. ....
