A father who was paralysed in the Manchester Arena bombing will climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for a spinal cord injury charity. 
Martin Hibbert, 44, was the closest person to the explosion to survive the attack on Ariana Grande s concert, which he had attended with his teenage daughter in May 2017, leaving him paralysed from the waist down. 
In September, the dad will carry the Paralympic torch from the London Games to the top of Africa’s highest mountain in an attempt to raise money for the Spinal Injuries Association. 
Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, Martin told how he will use a custom made hand-operated bike to tackle the peak, and that for those with spinal cord injuries every day is like climbing a mountain .  ....
