WILMINGTON Carl Edward Bystrom, 73, passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021.
Carl was born March 14, 1947, in Sandusky, Ohio, and lived much of his life along the shores of Lake Erie.
After graduating from Bay Village High School, he went on to be the first member of his family to attend college. After obtaining undergraduate and master’s degrees in political science from the Ohio State University and a law degree from Cleveland State University, he practiced law in Ohio and Georgia before retiring in North Carolina.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Melba, and is survived by his wife, Lauren; three children, Andy (Ingrid), Ian(Ashley) and Lyndon (Sarah); and grandchildren, Henry, Oscar and Simon. ....
