Youngsters have been planting spring flowers in containers throughout the town centre.
Following the loss of Delivering Dunfermline, it had looked like the many tubs and planters in the town were going to have to be stored away.
However, with the Scouts looking for outside tasks as their normal activities are not available due to COVID-19, they soon mucked in and even agreed to take on the floral clock, turning out in force despite the rain and doing a great job.
Councillor Helen Law, chair of the City of Dunfermline area committee, said: I was really worried that the tubs were looking a bit sad and unloved and I phoned Callum Farquhar to see if the Scouts could help. ....
