River to Table cooking competition seeking participants Area cooks will soon grab their chef hats and lace up their aprons, as a culinary showdown is coming to Cassville. The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce is bringing the second Annual TroutFest to the community this fall, and the event will offer a new feature, a River to Table cooking competition. Morgan Williams, Cassville Chamber director, said the idea for the competition was formed by her predecessor, Rachael Freeman. Now, we are working with Element 79, [Freemans media and marketing company], for this idea, which has been a collaboration of the two organizations, Williams said. It is a great way to incorporate Roaring River into TroutFest. ....

Wednesday, April 28, 2021 Cassville aims to boost marketing efforts, local tourism The city of Cassville has announced a new partnership with Element 79 Media Group, aimed at boosting economic and tourism development. Element 79 is a new media agency in Cassville, managed by former Cassville Chamber Director, Rachael Freeman. Rachael proved she had a heart for Cassville during her time at the Chamber of Commerce, said Steve Walensky, city administrator. She was instrumental in our inaugural TroutFest, even getting the attention of Bass Pro Shops as a sponsor. She orchestrated the fundraising of over $25,000 to go toward the new fish cleaning station at Roaring River State Park. In 2019, she was named as Cassville Schools Friend of Education. Rachael works hard for the good of our community. ....
Wednesday, January 13, 2021 Company growth means community growth Wintech Inc., a Monett-based company, has been operating in Cassville for more than a year, and the business is looking to expands. In 2017, Wintech purchased the old Thorco property in Cassville, and over the years, continuous growth has been seen company-wide. Jason Hunt, Wintech VP of operations, said in 2019 there were some renovations made to the old Thorco building, and in June 2019, residential and commercial vinyl window manufacturing began operating. As we were going through that process, we met some amazing people in the community, the Cassville Chamber members, business owners, city employees and more people in the area, Hunt said. We couldnt have felt more welcomed and encouraged, and it made us proud to be a part of the Cassville community. ....
