April meetings Key Action Zoning Inspector Dave Harmon shared with council that a resident on Main Street would like to put in a retaining wall along his property on the side that faces Linden Avenue. After many questions and much discussion, council decided to wait until a later meeting to make a decision until they had time to inspect it. DISCUSSION Police Chief Dennis Moody reported that there were 12 events with three citations during the month of March. There were approximately 2,000 miles combined for both cruisers. Tye Twarog, water operator for the village, noted that there was a Notice of Violation for the village operating system, but that he is working with the Ohio EPA to resolve. This would include, but not be limited to, a correct line flushing program and a valve exercising program. ....
Jan. 4 meeting KEY ACTION Tye Twarog, water plant operator, explained to council that he has had notifications from residents about discolored water within the village. He went on to explain that this is due to encountering clogged filters during the back washing of the filters at the water plant. He feels that there is sediment in the system that is breaking free. He went on to explain that the filters are very expensive to replace and he would hate to invest that money when the new plant, that is in the final planning stages, will not support this filtration system. ....
