Posted on December 23rd, 2020 Courtesy The Daily Mirror After evaluating all technical reports relating to the ANTI-COVID-19 syrup introduced by Ayurvedic practitioner Dhammika Bandara from Kegalle, the Pharmacological Unit of the Sri Lanka Ayurveda Department had approved the syrup as a local medicine, Indigenous Medicine Promotion, Rural & Ayurveda Hospital Development & Community Health Secretary Ms A.K.W.W.M.N.K. Weerasekara said. Addressing the media she said the syrup was registered as a local medicine following approval of the Ayurvedic Commissioner. Though the syrup was registered at the Ayurvedic Department the suitability for coronavirus will be determined after clinical tests,ms Weerasekara said.
