Village President Diane McGinley is stepping down effective Jan. 1, 2021. (village of Glen Ellyn )
GLEN ELLYN, IL Glen Ellyn Village President Diane McGinley will step down from her position effective Jan. 1, 2021. McGinley announced her decision at Monday night s village board meeting.
Trustee Craig Pryde will serve as President Pro-Tem from Jan. 1, 2021 through April 30, 2021, and the board will appoint an acting president at a future board meeting, according to a news release. The village president position will be formally elected in the April 6, 2021, election.
In addition to serving as village president since 2017, McGinley has been a substitute teacher for District 41, PTA President for Hadley Jr. High and as trustee on the village board from 2011 to 2015, and again in 2016. ....
