A Jefferson woman was taken into custody Thursday on allegations of sexual misconduct with minors following an investigation by the Jefferson Police Department. According to law enforcement, the inquiry was initiated in conjunction with the Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS). Authorities say video evidence provided to DHS showed the woman, identified as 21-year-old Victoria Leigh Ann Gordon, engaged in sexual situations, some involving children. Gordon was arrested at approximately 2:24 p.m. in the 400 block of E. Washington Street and transported to the Greene County Law Enforcement Center. She has been charged with lascivious acts with a child, a class C felony, and indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor. As of Friday morning, Gordon remained in custody awaiting an appearance before a magistrate. ....
