ATHENS The Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry said it was profoundly saddened by the the tragic news of the Russian passenger plane crash in Russia s Kamchatka region that killed 28 people, in a tweet on Tuesday.
The Antonov AN-26 plane was flying from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Palana, both on the Kamchatka peninsula, when it lost contact a few kilometers from its destination. Wreckage was found on a hillside near the coast, officials said, and there are no survivors.
Greece s Foreign Ministry also expressed its condolences to the victims families and loved ones, and solidarity to the people and government of the Russian Federation. ....

ATHENS, March 10 (Xinhua) The 62nd round of exploratory talks between Greece and Turkey will take place in Athens on March 16, the Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry announced on Wednesday in a press statement.
The previous round of talks about long standing differences took place in Istanbul on Jan. 25 this year after a five-year hiatus marked by tensions.
Greece and Turkey have long disagreed on overlapping claims on hydrocarbon resources in the Eastern Mediterranean, with both sides holding conflicting views on how far their continental shelves extend in waters.
