An intoxicated Clarkson woman has been arrested after having a DUI wreck with nine dogs in the car.
Sunday evening at approximately 6:00, Grayson County Deputy Andy Vincent and Sgt. Fred Norder, the East Grayson Fire Department and EMS responded to the 100 block of St. Paul Road, in Big Clifty, on the report of a single-vehicle accident.
Upon arriving at the scene, Vincent found that a 2001 Suzuki XL-7 Grand Vitara, being driven by 67-year-old Patricia A. Heim-Wood, was eastbound on St. Paul Road when it crossed into the westbound lane and “left the left shoulder of the roadway” as it approached a railroad crossing, according to the arrest citation. The vehicle then struck one set of tracks before coming to rest between the two sets of railroad tracks. ....

Caneyville man runs from, resists Grayson Co. deputies at traffic stop

A Caneyville man has been arrested for fleeing from Grayson County deputies at a traffic stop.
Thursday night at midnight, Grayson County Deputy Andy Vincent executed a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu after discovering the driver, 37-year-old Daron L. Fentress, had a warrant for his arrest out of Grayson County.
Soon after the stop, Sgt. Zane Greer arrived and assisted Vincent.
After confirming the driver was indeed Fentress, Vincent informed the suspect that he had a warrant for his arrest. Fentress then began behaving aggressively, according to the arrest citation, as he refused to exit the vehicle and began “punching the steering wheel multiple times.” ....
