JB Pritzker announced Monday. Although the state remains in Phase 1A of its vaccine distribution plan, some communities which have substantially completed Phase 1A have moved to the early stages of Phase 1B. “We want to make sure any available vaccine is administered quickly to the priority groups that we’ve laid out,” Pritzker said. “Let’s get those out to Phase 1B people. . Public health officials announced that nine people from Peoria County and nine people from Tazewell County died between Dec. 24 and Monday. That brings the Tri-County death toll to 385 since the pandemic began; since Dec. 1, 128 people have died. Within Peoria County, there were five men and four women who died. All but one were older than 60. The one man who in his 20s had prior health conditions that could have contributed to his death, public health officials said. In Peoria County, three were residents of Sharon Elms and one was a resident of Sharon Willows. ....
