Share Hope Robinson Schwarz Cox OCEAN PARK – Hope Robinson Schwarz Cox died peacefully in her home in Ocean Park with family at her side, on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the age of 90 years. Born Jan. 25, 1931, the daughter of Prof. Edward Robinson Schwarz and Dorothy Alice (Bourque) Schwarz, she grew up with her brother, Edward Hudson Schwarz and sister, Dorothy Gretchen Perkins, in Melrose, Mass., attending public schools there. The family summered in Ocean Park where Hope developed close friendships and ties to last her lifetime. In 1950, Hope became a year-round resident when she moved into her family’s Ocean Park home while attending the nursing program at Westbrook College/Maine General Hospital becoming a registered nurse in 1953. ....
