Clackamas County deputies are seeking clues into the mysterious death of a homeless man whose body was found floating in the Willamette River on March 26.
Samuel Lee Brooks, 40, known to frequent the Milwaukie area, had no fixed address. He was found dead, floating face-down in more than two feet of water, along the riverbank near 1900 Clackamette Drive in Oregon City.
Brooks body had been sighted downstream of the Sportcraft Landing Boat Ramp by a passing boater on a fishing-guide expedition who contacted 911 at approximately 11:30 a.m. ....
