Allan Jenkinson, who owns the Whinfellpark herd, based at Clifton Moor, Penrith, bid for British Limousin maiden heifer, Wilodge Poshspice, in a joint purchase with Charlie Boden of the Sportsmans herd, based at Mellor Hall Farms, Stockport. Bred by Christine Williams and Paul Tippetts at Lodge Hill Farm, Park Lane, Shifnal, Shropshire, Wilodge Poshspice is by Ampertaine Elgin and out of Milbrook Gingerspice. A combination of stunning visual appeal and a pedigree packed full of breeding lines convinced joint purchasers, Mr Jenkinson and Mr Boden. ....

The November-2019 born Wilodge Poshspice, from Shropshire breeders Christine Williams and Paul Tippetts, smashed the previous record for 125,000gn when she sold at Harrison and Hetherington’s Borderway Mart in Carlisle. Doubling the previous record of 125,000gns paid for Glenrock Illusion at the Illingworth s Glenrock dispersal in 2014 at Carlisle, Poshspice sold in a two-way split to Messrs Jenkinson, buying for the Whinfellpark herd from Penrith, and Charlie Boden of the Sportsmans herd from Stockport. ....
A new world record price of 250,000gns has been paid for the Limousin heifer, Wilodge Poshspice, at a joint herd sale at Carlisle. The maiden heifer from Christine Williams and Paul Tippetts , Shropshire-based Wilodge herd, is a 14-month-old ET bred from Millbrook Gingerspice, a multi-award winning Wilodge Vantastic-sired female that boasts several inter-breed titles at national events. The sire is the equally well known Ampertaine Elgin.
