UT Health East Texas Physicians on Monday will open a COVID-19 Recovery Clinic at UT Health North Campus Tyler that is designed to treat patients who have recovered from COVID-19 but continue to experience lingering health issues.
At the clinic, a multidisciplinary team will screen, assess, treat and provide referrals for patients who continue to experience negative health effects from COVID-19. The team includes representatives from pulmonary and critical care medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, dietary, behavioral health and clinical research. TYLER, Texas (KLTV) UT Health East Texas Physicians on Monday will open a COVID-19 Recovery Clinic at UT Health North Campus Tyler that is designed to treat patients who have recovered from COVID-19 but continue to experience lingering health issues.

TYLER, Texas On Monday, May 3, UT Health East Texas Physicians will open a COVID-19 Recovery Clinic designed to treat patients who have recovered from COVID-19 but continue to experience lingering health issues. The clinic will be housed at UT Health North Campus in Tyler.
The clinic will screen, assess, treat and provide referrals for COVID-long haul patients, those who continue to experience negative health effects from COVID-19.
The clinic will be supervised by Dr. Megan Devin, a physician specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine; Dr. Renee Hebbeler-Clark, who is board-certified in critical care and infectious disease medicine; and Tara Sadler, a nurse practitioner. ....

All UT Health East Texas Physicians clinics will be closed Monday due to inclement weather. This includes the COVID-19 vaccine clinic at UT Health North Campus Tyler, 11937 U.S. Highway 271. Anyone who has a COVID-19 vaccine appointment Monday may come to the clinic to receive their second dose on another day next week. They will not need a scheduled appointment but will need to bring the vaccine card they received at their first appointment. The recommendation is to get the second dose as close as possible to the scheduled date, and it is safe and effective for those scheduled Monday to receive the vaccine on another day next week. ....
