Prenzler will lead East-West Gateway Council board

EDWARDSVILLE – Madison County Board Chairman Kurt Prenzler has been named chair of the East-West Gateway Council of Governments’ board of directors.
Announced at the organization’s January meeting, Prenzler will serve for one year. Prenzler, who recently won a second term as board chair, said although he had been part of the organization he had been more focused on the county.
“It’s an opportunity for me, now that I’ve been through one term (as board chairman),” he said “There’s a lot for me to learn about the metropolitan issues. It’s a good time for me to learn more.” ....
