One person was injured in one of the fires and taken to a hospital, while no other injuries were reported. A fire at an apartment building in New Haven late Friday afternoon displaced nine families, including 12 adults and seven children, fire officials said. Early Friday afternoon, a fire at a multifamily home in East Hartford left four adults and two children in two families homeless. A fire Friday morning in Tolland displaced four adults. Fire officials say one person was taken to a hospital and 12 rabbits died.

The report found that 33% of high school students in the urban districts it studied are in danger of not progressing to the next grade, which compares to about 15% in a non-pandemic year. The report looked at more than 12,000 students in Hartford, East Hartford, Manchester, Middletown, Norwalk, Naugatuck, Meriden and Stamford during the first 2 [1/2] months of the school year.
