Jennings man arrested for theft of a vehicle

A Jennings man has been arrested, accused of vehicle theft.
The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff s Office says that on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, deputies were dispatched to 15147 Highway 102, Jennings, Louisiana, in reference to a vehicle theft.
The complainant told deputies he was working on a construction site and a co-worker notified him that someone drove away in the victim s truck. At around 11:00 am deputies received a phone call alerting them the vehicle was spotted at a residence on Johnson Street, in Jennings.
Jennings Police Department contacted deputies and advised they located the stolen vehicle at a residence on Johnson Street, and had detained a man, identified as 25-year-old Keaton Bertrand. ....
