PTI MPAs submit bill for teaching of Quran Karachi June 7, 2021 Members of the Sindh Assembly belonging to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have submitted a bill in the legislature regarding teaching of Holy Quran in the educational institutions. The draft law, titled ‘Sindh Compulsory Teaching of Holy Quran Bill 2021’, was recently submitted PTI MPAs Shahzad Qureshi, Rabia Azfar and Arsalan Taj. The bill was prepared after consultations with religious scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani, Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and other scholars. The PTI leaders proposed in the bill that Nazra should be taught to the children from their first to fifth grades and Quran should be taught with translation in the sixth to twelfth classes. ....
