One week before the 2021 ASUN Indoor Track & Field Championships, Liberty will send six athletes to the Virginia Tech Challenge. Chelsea Igberaese, Makenzy Mizera, Alexis Rolan, Jose Ballivian, Warren Barrett and Kyle Mitchell are set to compete in the meet, Friday and Saturday at Rector Field House in Blacksburg, Va. Rolan will be the first Flame in action, racing in the women s 60 dash prelims Friday at 6:05 p.m. On Saturday, the men s shot put (Ballivian, Barrett and Mitchell) is set to begin at noon. The Liberty men s and women s indoor track & field teams will compete in their lone road meet of the 2021 regular season, the Bob Pollock Invitational, Friday and Saturday at the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex in Clemson, S.C. The Flames and Lady Flames will square off against a number of ACC and SEC opponents, along with ASUN rival Kennesaw State.
